On April 26, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issues 3,500 invitations in the Express Entry Draw
IRCC issued a total of 3,500 invitations to candidates in the Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Workers Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. The Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) required was 483.
The CRS score is based on human capital factors such as work experience, occupation, language ability and education. Candidates who obtain high scores are the most likely to receive an invitation to apply (ITA). When candidates receive an ITA, they have 60 days to submit their final application for permanent residence to IRCC. The application is reviewed by an immigration officer who decides if the candidate is approved for permanent residence status.
